once upon a pond, there was a very, very special cottage Whimsical seaside-inspired retreat tucked beside a peaceful pond in charming Englewood, Florida. Just six minutes from the beach, this cottage is surrounded by nature’s finest neighbours—graceful egrets, herons, turtles, sandhill cranes, and of course, the woodstorks themselves. They have all graciously allowed us to share their pond with them. Designed for serene indoor–outdoor living, the cottage offers a true beachy feel with breezy, sunlit spaces and coastal decor, it is everybody’s happy place. Relax on the Pondview Terrace, wander through Old Englewood Village with its shops, wine bars, and farmers market, or head to the beach for swimming or sunset—everything you could want is just minutes away. Coastal charm, tranquility, and a touch of whimsy come beautifully together to make a true seaside retreat. You will not want to leave.

($100 per pet, per stay/month, under 40 lbs., £150 if they’ve been sneaking snacks and are over 40lbs).Pets are allowed at Lonestar Farmhouse, Bluebonnet Farmhouse and Woodstork Pond Cottage. Also please do let us know the type of pet — we like to be properly introduced to our guests
